Huge mistake giving a 5 year contract to an unproven head coach. It should have been for a max of 3 years.

F- for Smitheran and Acker. Maybe by the time we can let Acker loose (3 years from now) we'll have a firmly established President with some vision and support for athletics and his own hand picked AD.
Seems like we are in a flush the toilet mode and will have three more years of garbage coaching under Acker. And you can't blame lack of talent, its not great but by BW standards should be closer to middle of the pack not in last place mode.
Last years team totally tuned him out. This year they seem more tuned in but not by much, the defensive commitment and planning is horrible, end of game management in close games is a nightmare, rebounding has gone south (player effort in my opinion has gone south), at this point guys are just showcasing what they can do for their next stop and I don't blame them one bit.
Hope President Blanchard holds the AD responsible and puts him on a short leash. Massive end of season losing streaks are not random.

Once again MBB is getting the crap kicked out of it at Cal Poly. Acker is starting to look like one of the worst MBB coaches in Long Beach State history. Once again the team is ending the year on a very long losing streak and he has no clue how to coach these players. MBB is dead as there is no future and this guy flat out is not a head coach. Smitheran once again gets an F on this hire.
