I did a deep dive on Max when we signed him. I think he will turn out to be a solid contributor in his first year. He's got legit size and is fairly chiseled, his game is aggressive on both ends and while he looks like an avg+ athlete, he's got moves and appears to have very good court sense. I think he can hit 3's if I remember and his form looked good. Only worry I had is his inside moves are a little slow he'll need to be quicker inside in DI

Max Van Lanningham was mentioned below so I looked up his stats for this yer. He is 6'8" and plays for Woodcreek high school in Sata Rosa. They are going to the N.CA CIF playoffs. Max averaged 17.8 points, 9.6 rebounds, 2.8 asst., 3.5 blocks and shot 38% from the three. He was recruited by comparable D1 schools. I hope he warks out for us.
