Sykes warmed up pre game looked fine. Would love to know why he sat out, we'd win v a poor shooting UCD if he played.

DMX last home game, would love to find out why he rode the pine and even Chaikovsky got minutes but DMX didn't and we could have used him.

So many questions with this program.

Diaz may have just played himself into the portal. Even he shook his head in disbelief one time after Acker gave him some instructions. I can't help but think any kid worth anything in the portal after one year under Acker will strongly consider transferring.

Still having some trouble with the press and inbounding balls. Only a few times in the first half then UCD tried to press us and Diaz and the group figured it out, best they've broken full court press all season, textbook...shows these guys can get it done when they are confident and disciplined.

Great to see the team fight for a win the problem was too often a guy was checked out of it due to no postseason, too much going through the motions. But interspersed was some good play. Not a lot of assists tonight, but they rebounded well.

DMX and Bender along with grad assistants were honored about 10 minutes before the game started, and hardly anyone in the stands, half the attendance in the sand bar not even paying attention. They deserve better. There seemed to be genuine happiness between them and Acker, I'll bet he's respected and liked in some ways, but its a mixed bag because he's a demanding and forceful presence and that is ok when there is success but there isn't and the guys just shake their heads during games sometimes.

Maybe there was a legit reason why Sykes and DMX played, but until I hear it, I'm pissed I didn't get to see either play and if both had, I'm convinced we win this one, although Diaz production would have been more subdued. He had a lights out game and dominated both ends. I hope he stays.
