This team certainly had enough to be .500. I think they were mismanaged too much and were subject to some questionable in game coaching. Diaz is clearly superior to Lewis. We lost a ton of close games. Petar was a stud at times and Sykes was lights out the best true freshman the BW has seen in a long time. Not playing DMX much was vexing as he could impact games inside. We have 3 more years of Acker and all we can hope is he figures it out so we can at least start making the BWT tournament again. I just hope Acker gets over himself and starts coaching better.

Nice way to end the season last night. Sykes is a total stud and will most certainly be gone to a big school. I think coach Acker progressed a bit this year but not enough. Diaz is obviously the only point guard we have that's decent and he needs to play about 30 minutes a game. If Sykes wasn't hurt and Diaz played major minutes this year we would have been about a .500 team, made the Big West Tournament for sure and possibly kept more players because of better success. Coach has a lot to learn about x's and o's but we certainly made some progress this year. Let's hope most of the players stay as almost all key players have eligibility left.
