Football needs to adopt this also so we don't see a mass exodus of players declare before the bowl games.

The portal opening date was changed by NCAA rule this year to not open until the completion of the NCAA Championship final game on 4-7-26. The window opens on 4-7-26 and is only open for 15 days now and will close on 4-21-26. The women's portal opens 4-6-26 to the 20th.

so we can watch the mass exodus again. I hope that's not the case but from what I have seen and heard it's Acker's treatment of players, not the prospect for higher income that has driven players away. I guess we will see.
