Locally: Honda center too big.
ACC too old.
LB Arena same as ACC and it's bigger. If downtown LB were safe, like the late 90s to early 2000s, it would be a nice location for night life, but downtown is dodgy and unsafe after dark - thanks "progressive" dems in the mayor's office and council's majority.
Pyramid too small, leaks and needs upkeep. Also, BWC members may not want to play at a partisan site.
The Crypt is too big, as is the new Clip joint.
Rotate between UCI and LB?
In either event, the event needs energy and that comes from fan participation, which means closer proximity.

I am watching the Big West first round between Cal Poly and UCSD. It is sad the crowd of spectators is so small.
It would be nice if the tournament was local in the LA area so supporters of the member schools could attend and support their teams.
