And a match up with that vile Bruce Pearl and Auburn.

They may get a play-in game. Hard to say no to a team that won 31 games.

Their NET Ranking is not good at 93, not much better than UCI at 105 UCSD at 113 and Hawaii at 115.

Agree junior. They'll add a .500 SEC or ACC team first. Then, they'll send Miami on the road to play another ACC, SEC or Big 12 team in the NIT.

It will be hard to leave a 31-1 team out of the NCAA's but their SOS was like 330 and the MAC has some really bad teams so it will be a toss up. You really can't lose to a horrible UMASS team in the first round. I will say they are left out by the committee.

They go 31-0 and then get beat in the first round of their conference tournament.
I could tell it was coming because their last three wins were all by 2 points each - a sign of a team struggling to maintain a streak - and of teams which had learned much about them and placed a target on their backs for being undefeated.
This and several other conference tournament upsets are why I am in general, opposed to conference tournaments because of the massive possibility that a conference will not send it's season tested best to the NCAAT. Send the regular season champion to the NCAAT. IF a conference MUST have a conference tournament, only invite the top 4 teams; no 9 seeds who catch fire and finish with a 12-22 overall record and get 16 seed or PIG in the NCAAT.
