Turner has won 8 BW Regular Season titles in 16 years and nine postseason appearances while at UCI. Turner's all-time UCI record is 321-187 and 179-71 in the BW compared to Dan's LB record of 275-273 with 4 BW regular season titles. It is true UCI has trouble in the tourney championship game.

In 16 years Turner has gone to the NCAA twice. Monson did the same and was fired. Seems like Turner can't win the big game. UCI MBB and WBB were league champions and niether one could get to the NCAA. Good luck to both of them in the NIT.
Next year should be tough for everyone with UCSD in it's last year and the three new members. Acker needs to hold the top players and do some great recruiting as well as turn his ability to coach around or LB will be holding up the standings again.
