The early March Madness (conference tourneys) is over, and now the late (real) March Madness begins. I believe the conference tourneys are held for the money (TV) the games bring in. I am glad the BW went down to 8 teams and now rewards the top 2 league finishers with a double bye.

Cal Baptist wins their tourney, gets to the dance with a 13 seed, and will be a great addition to the BW. They face the 4-seed Kansas. The 13 seed beats the 4 seed about 20% 0f the time.
Hawaii, a 13 seed, plays the 4 seed Arkansas. I'll be rooting for Hawaii and CBU.

Ohio University 31-1 doesn't get a bid, but will surely go to the NIT as will UCI.
