While NIL is giving some income to this guys, and the top guys make good money, Stats say 3-4% of NCAA athletes get drafted, but I think it is more like 1%. The 3-4% number that gets thrown around assumes a senior class, but in today's world, all bets are off after the first year anyways.
360 NCAA teams x 15 guys a roster= ~5400 athletes.
13 internationals last year, so 47 NCAA athletes.
That's 0.87% chance to be a drafted NCAA player in a given year.
Now including undrafted or G league callups, about 60-75 rookies received playing time of any kind, this includes draftees, undrafted, and 10 day contracts. So while that is above the 47 athletes drafted from college, The denominator goes up as well because they are competing against G League guys, free agents coming back from overseas for the first time, etc.
Basically, stay in school kids, build skills, most likely you will need it later in life.

Only Aboubacar Traore at Louisville saw very much playing time out of the several transfers a few years ago. L Traore and Jaden both were limited by injuries, and AJ ended up at Bakersfield. I think L. Traore will play overseas if he can get healthy.

Bummer. I looked at the Texas box score saw he didn't play, looks like he's done for the season a while ago. Hope he fully recovers and he's good enough to play overseas.
