As good as CSUN looked yesterday, they looked pretty bad today, and LB didn't let up and stomped the Matadors 25-21, 25-16, 25-14.

Out: Gajek, Marquardt
Injured in match: Pazanti (left shoulder), Varga maybe a tweaked hamstring. Minor injuries keep piling up although Gajek and Marquardt don't look too bad noticeably, but Pazanti that could be something that keeps him out a while. Doty is very capable.

Beach hit .561 as a team and held CSUN to .209. Outblocked, out aced, out everything and held star Jalen Phillips to 9 kills on .180 hitting. Mostly due to strong service pressure keeping most passes far from the net.

Beach stepped on the gas early, set one both squads had 3-4 pt runs until LB finished em off with a run. Next two set no contest. Daniil, Kandev, Braun, Cryst and Varga were all hot hitting over .500. Pazanti mixed up the setting but late in the 2nd set dove for an errant pass and landed on his left shoulder. Doty took over and didn't miss a beat.

This is the match we needed, blow the doors off a weaker opponent and never let up.

UCSD up next, we need to take two from them and I think we will. Give us momentum going into a couple tough back to backs v UCSB and UCI the following two weeks.
