
I think it's simpler. It's all about the money and LB is a stepping stone for some who wish to use the playing time they can get at LB in order to get the money elsewhere. It's an indictment of the current (failing) model of college athletics.

Pepperdine is a private school and has way more NIL money that Long Beach. Petar is not a power 5 player, so a move to a school that will pay him more logical expected.

The number of lateral move transfers where money appears irrelevant is a huge indictment of the culture within our men's basketball program, IMO.
