
Not unique to us. Pepperdine is just finising their "Mountain" campus rebuild, but don't have the donors for Collectives/NIL/rev share to bring in elite athletes. Pacific is said to have much more than them which seems bonkers, but is true.
Baseball is probably the most drastic change, as basically overnight you had the amount of money needing to be considered fully funded nearly quadruple.

It is unfortunate as it appears the men's basketball program is a failed program. Three more years of Acker and the dept leadership will kill it.
And it appears the baseball program is also on a downtrend.
With today's economy headed in the direction it is will not make things better. How will CSULB afford to transport all of our sports teams to games not at home?
Getting season ticket holders and donors to stay let alone attract new ones will not happen if things economically continue in the same direction.
Our new university President will have a daunting task fixing I'll that was left for him to deal with.
