He's going to sue and hope they cave for another year. Make some argument that the 13 games he played doesn't count either due to injury. Standard procedure nowadays, look at Pavia at Vandy, Beck at Georgia, etc. The NCAA is gutless and can't fight the battles after the court decisions. Too many lawyers, too much money the universities can't afford.

Askew went to 5 different schools. Kentucky (20/21), Texas (21/22), Cal (22/23+23/24), LB (24/25), and Villanova (25/26). Isn't this 6 years at 5 schools? His 2nd year at Cal 23/24, he only played 6 games due to a foot injury. Can he get another year as a grad student?? Previous Message
I just noticed both Askew and Wainwright are back in the portal again. I would have thought Askew is out of eligibility but maybe not. Maybe they will want to come back! LOL Previous Message
and there are over 2,600 players now in the portal. That's essentially half of all the players in D1. It's got to be harder than ever to be a D1 coach.
