
Men's Big West Tennis down to 5 next season, and when UCSB departs, they fall below the NCAA number with 4.
Women's will be down to 8 and then 7 post UCSB.
Given that story, when does the Big West group together and cut rather than being individual villains?
Sad.
Of course, the baseball and womens volleyball programs are going to plummet competitively as these A.D.'s chase their next jobs trying to bolster hopeless basketball spending.

Not a great sign, but Swim and Dive was dead in the water (get it) with the defections. only 2 schools have either a mens or womens team post UCSB/UCSD leaving.
Tennis is interesting as it's 60%+ international and US participation is way down (article mentions 26% decrease over the last 20 years). Always been a travel heavy sport for the few athletes, but also been the model of student athletes. Women had an okay year, but not really competing for titles post Jenny.
