Russ, I didn't intend to start a discussion about religious beliefs. All I tried to do was add some background as to why he might not play on Saturday if he happens to be an SDA. But you are incorrect in some of your statements. Here is a link from the SDA website that speaks to their beliefs.

Im a Christian and I read my Bible and live out my faith. I'm saved by Gods grâce and mercy. Seventh Day Adventis are the main sect of Christianity that cant play on that day or work. Fine their entitled to beleive whatever they want.Im allowed to see they dont just rely on Sritpure and add to their beliefs by a lady named Ellen White.
They départ from scripture Dave, they belive you need to both keep the Law of God and Grace. They are wrong, its Grace. Mosiac Covenant was fufilled by Christ They also beleive Jesus was promoted to be the son of God and it made Satan angry. Thats blasphemous.
