Would be a guy in the past where I would say in two years he could be a special player.

Year 3 of a 5-year contract is critical for Acker to show progress. He needs to get a minimum of 15 to 16 wins this year to show he can coach and use this roster to win games. Each year for many years, I have bought into the spring/summer roster hype and then am usually disappointed by the end of the season. I hope this year is different. Time will tell. Previous Message
We now have two 'wings' in Wright and Lau. We had none last year.
The composition of next year's MBB team is superior to first two under Acker. Good distribution of size and player styles that 'in theory' could give the team options.
I'm not even cautiously optimistic, or have any hopes of any outcome. The annual roll of the dice, will another brand new team get coached into a decently performing unit? History says no under Acker so far. I hope he bucks his own trend and the team performs well. Previous Message
