I usually do not point these things out, but this is a good team that needs to play like good team, now and always rather than later.

CSUN is not as bad as their record indicates. They are actually a pretty good team that has had key injuries to their best players. When they are all back, like last night, the can make some things difficult. Have a big block and have some potent hitters. Their coach exposed a lot of LBSU's shortcomings but as stated LBSU did not come to play. On their heels the whole night.
I was surprised how poorly the passing was because that has been a strength for most of the season. Maxwell was setting beyond the 10 foot line most of the night and LBSU is not great out of system offensively. Out of system facing a big block is a very big obstacle for most teams and especially for LBSU without the type of lefts that can thrive out of system.

What had started out a very good season came to a crashing halt last night. CSUN is not bad but is only 5-8. We seem to play a few matches every year where the ladies just don't show up. To be an NCAA tourney team you need to come to play every night. We were not prepared tonight and did NOTHING well. Natalie is a decent coach and fairly good recruiter but she needs to be a better in game coach. We are better than CSUN on paper by far and to play this kind of match is pretty much inexcusable.
