About three years ago I had gone to NC to visit a friend. There was an older couple staying at the hotel with to small dogs wearing the service dog vests. The couple were very nice and I spent a lot of time talking to them (I was there for several days). The dogs were very sweet and very friendly, and definitely not true services dogs. It was obvious that these were beloved family pets. The couple practically said as much. The dogs were well behaved, but I still think it was wrong for them to be in the restaurant and sitting in the booth (not on the floor). With that said, I didn't call them out on it. It but I know it was not proper or right.
