and it gets colder up there, but I wouldn't think *snow* when I think of Africa. My sister lives in Arizona and it's 120 degrees there now, but in the mountains it's in the 70's. But this is summer. She doesn't go up to the moutains in the winter. Will have to ask her about the temps then.
