And just an update on Buffy. She's doing ok. We thought based on the vet that she would have left us a while back. he gave her a month, and today it's 7 weeks. She's still doing alright, but if I didn't syringe her, she would die. Her tongue can't function to get food in and down. I lay the syringe over her tongue and use watered down baby food or A/D and it goes down ok. Her tongue is getting larger though. She still loves to sit with us, and purrs and headbutts, even cleans herself sometimes on her face, best she can I guess. She's not in pain.
Dave said first sign she's not happy, he's taking her in. She's his favorite baby. They sit together on the couch every night watching TV, he puts a fleece blanket on his legs and calls her and she comes running and jumps up by him. It will be hard on him when she goes. He doesn't even mind her drooly mouth. He normally wouldn't care for that.
Say some prayers for her too.
Meanwhile, believe it or not, I'm looking forward to getting these results, this eye has been so uncomfortable for so long. I just want to move on from this somehow.
Hope everyone is well out there. The board seems so small and just not the same, but glad that it's still here and some folks come sometimes.
