She's been having repeated UTI's becoming less responsive to treatment. They're getting worse, and yesterday she was in real discomfort.

They say that when the bad days outnumber the good, it's time to let them go, and that time had come.

We never really knew exactly how old she was, so we're thinking she could have been anywhere from 16 on up. She was definitely a frail old lady.
