I just posted Ruth’s obituary in a separate post, and I will post the GoFundMe information in a different post.

I promised an update, and here it is. Rebecca has been working hard behind the scenes to obtain any information possible, and we have not been able to glean a single answer.

All leads have been exhausted, and anyone who could be contacted based on the available information has been. We are no longer pursuing this.

As of Monday, 6/29/2020, there was no death certificate on file at Vital Statistics/Records (or whatever the bureau is called in North Carolina).

We do not know when or where or if Ruth was interred.

We do not know who has Lil’ Bit or Buddy.

We do not know who (if anyone) may be carrying out any of Ruth’s final wishes, as specified in her 3/29 post. Nor do we have any idea if a will was ever executed.
