hoping you would get another fur friend or at least foster. That's too bad that the restrictions are keeping you from your next family member.It is such a life-changing event to lose a beloved pet, especially since he was your only. Keep looking, someone will turn up that needs you as much as you need them!

I'm glad that you have found some "work arounds" on the restrictions. It shouldn't have to be as hard as some of these governments are making it. At least we have the possibility of change coming soon. Yours seems to be ongoing.

I also live alone and depend on my cats so much more now. I miss the balance of spending time with family and friends. We are starting to do some small gatherings occasionally, but as we go into our winter with probably no holiday socializing and weather reducing time spent outside, I have to fight off loneliness as well.

I am very grateful for the internet, however. This whole crazy time would be so much worse without it! So take care of yourself and we will all get through this. Better days are ahead!!
