I just ordered two big bags of this stuff, it's supposed to be pretty safe but I can't find any info on using it as kitty litter. Has any one read anything on it or tried it? I can get a BIG bag for $12, it's the size of a 50lb bag but only weights 12lbs and it's extreamly absorbent and I'm betting it's the same stuff as Pretty Litter which cost a whole lot more. Anyone???
What that is even. Check the ingredients, it should say clay as the ingredients. Any other weird unknown stuff in it, I'd stay away.
We used to use the white not clumping, but found the Meier brand (grocery store brand) in the clumpable no scent to be gray. And it's fairly reasonable too! If you have a Meiers in your area I'd check it out.
We have NO pee-ers now. Maybe cause there's less of them? We only have 11 now. Maybe the litter helped using clumpable? Maybe a bit of both. But either way it is SO nice.
We renovated the upstairs and it's staying perfectly clean! Love it!
Good luck on the litter choice.
It's made of perlite.

Not clay, It's white and a huge bag is around 12 pounds. I talked to the manufacturer and they said that it was safe to use as cat litter. I got two bags yesterday, if it works well I'll let you know. I hope so, it should make the litter boxes so much easier and less stinky and cheaper! It sucks all the moisture up fast, even the poop will dry out and not stink. http://instazorb.com/
