Good news, not cancer!
However, they do not know what it is! Said maybe we won't ever find out what it is. They was to determine if it's sarcoidosis. There's no real way to determine that other than to eliminate everything else. Sending me to a rheumatologist to check further. Meanwhile I'm on 10 mg of prednisone for a month. Hope that helps this eye. As soon as it's better, I'm stopping of slowly stopping the pred. That's scary stuff.

And bummer that getting a conclusive diagnosis is going to be so difficult. But that happens sometimes in medicine. No fun to go through it, though.

But again, the "not cancer!" diagnosis is excellent news!

so glad you can relax a little now. I know it's frustrating that you don't know what it IS but at least you know what it ISN'T
