Its Sunday morning I am up early to go to take the baby puppy class. I love the baby puppies (1 - 16 weeks old) they learn so quickly in such a short time. I try to give them the 5 "basics" and I also have talks each week about behaviours and problems. So many of the new owners know NOTHING about raising a pup. or who to develop good behaviours. If I can help just one of them I feel I have done my job! Cats are like Potato Chips - you can't have just one
Love it....I socialize young kittens prior to adoption...nm
Would love that, but would be too hard to give them up, unless you do that at the shelter?? I couldn't foster. Actually would have a hard time visiting and working at a shelter too, would fall in love with too many and bring them home.😻
At the shelter...I also do adults....I consider the work (yeah, right) msg
paying it forward for my two girls...I agree, I would have a hard time returning fosters too...but our shelter has "fospice", which is a combination of foster and hospice...you get to keep the fospice cat and they provide the meds for the condition...
I don't have a new pup - I have been taking this class for some years now. The other class I take is on Tuesday evenings - and that is for advanced people who are doing Competition Obedience. Cats are like Potato Chips - you can't have just one
