My Ziba had her dental yesterday...msg

and she stood in the same line I did for teeth...the crappy line! She is home fine, with a mouthful of stiches. On pain meds, and Mira is having a massive hissy fit, as she smells like the vet! She ate a little this morning. Would appreciate any help on getting them to accept each other again...I cannot leave them together without worrying about a fight breaking out...sigh.

I hope she's better soon. They should be ok when the vet smell leaves. Hope that's soon. For now, I'd let her be in her own private space while she recovers. Hope it's better though and you don't need to do anything.

You could rub Ziba with a damp washcloth & then the others ... msg

so that they all smell like the vets.

and both sides are still hissing. Ziba is on pain meds, so she tends to sleep a lot and Mira has decided that she will stay in the living room area, but when they do chance to meet, the hissing starts. When I give Ziba her pain meds I will rub her down and transfer it to Mira. I hope they get over this soon, as Mira's dental will be in October and I do not want to go through this again.

I'm dying of curiosity!

I've never had a problem with cats getting weird about it when one comes back from the vet, but when Glory was in her last days, Sara wouldn't have a thing to do with her (which was hard to take as they'd always been such good buds). Makes me wonder now if there was something different about the way she smelled as the cancer took over.

Anyway, I hope your girls manage to sign a "peace treaty" soon!

whereas Wednesday night I had to close the bedroom door to separate them...they are both still hissing...Ziba is still off her food, I plan to get some baby food today. It pains me to see her recouping, but she spends the day snoozing and not going after her stiches. Wish me luck all!
