I got a call from my mom this afternoon from the cemetery where she had been watering flowers. Seems someone stopped by with two black kittens about three months old and dumped them in the 90 degree heat! They did put out a little plate of water with them (oh boy!!). They were clearly inside kittens that are well socialized and have no fleas - thankfully. But I just will never understand how anyone could do this. So, now I have two little boys with full bellies sleeping in my basement and I'm back in the fostering business after about a year. What are you going to do.....

Thanks for helping them. I have the same issue going on here. I haven't posted in a while.
Mama cat showed up, followed by a litter of 4 7-8 week old babies two weeks later.
I've been feeding them all. I cant take them in, but am trying to find a no kill place for them all to go. So far tried one place, no luck.
Sadly, the runt ( an adorable little long haired calico that was so sweet) disappeared Saturday night during a thunderstorm. She was so frail compared to the others. Actually she was half their size. I wish I had taken her in. Evidently she needed to be in. She didn't move like the others. Not sure if she got lost or something got her, but mama moved the others to the barn from our yard. At least they will not get wet any longer. I've been crying for this little one the last two days. I searched everywhere and she was no where. She's gone by now. Too long. I hope the others will be ok. They are not that easy to catch, but I did get my hands on all of them several times. Mama is fine, she comes up to me. But it took me a month to gain her trust.
When she first arrived she was alone, very thin, and I was trying to gain her trust to get her spayed or to a shelter. Then when I finally got to pet her, I felt milk...but very little. Then came the babies, all able to walk and everything. So she may have moved them to me, after I began feeding her real good on canned food.
Now I have to deal with this. I hate it. Wish me luck. So hard to find good homes. I trust no one.
I wish you luck finding homes for your babies.
Mine are black and white long hair, and one calico long hair now. There were 2 calicos originally. Mama is a very pretty calico.
Have fun with them...kittens are blessings...nm
