Bagels?

I was just eating a bagel, and when I wasn't paying attention, Sara snuck in and grabbed a bite! And wanted more!

Bagels? Really?

I Googled it, and found that bread is okay for cats in moderation, so I let her have a couple bites more.

But BAGELS? REALLY???

Maybe she liked the butter...if you buttered them. I butter mine and a cat or two will come over for some all the time.

It was what is called a "French Toast" bagel - kind of egg-y with swirls of cinnamon throughout and a few raisins. Sara is just about the most food-motivated cat I've ever seen. (I swear that if I didn't have her on controlled feedings that she'd turn into a bowling ball and then explode!

)

"Sara Bella" makes me think of "cerebellum". I bet that means she'll be a very smart kitty!

My girls don't express a want to munch on bagels or bread...nm

but yes, many of my cats have had a thing for bagels. Not even the lox!
