that they would stop using that term - "pre-cancerous", as if the outcome is defined. There is such a range of interpretation between "elevated risk", likely to develop, or effectively "early stage but not yet". |
While it is important to be vigilant and prepared for a POSSIBLE, eventual, malignancy, the term causes so much unnecessary stress and anxiety.
But of course, my prayers are with you both for my favorite scan result terms - "stable, no change, and NED - "no evidence of disease"
