Anytime...really! I lost power Sunday evening while I started watching the Oscars. Not a surprise with the wind warnings, but the estimated time of restoring was a surprise - 3:00 pm on the 26th. Then it changed to the 27th. Ack!! So kitties and I had a camp out in the living room with a fire in the fireplace. They slept, I didn't. Tonight is a work night but I got a co-worker to come in early, so I only have to work half a shift. We will resume the camp out when I get home and hope the electric workers pick up some speed on Tuesday. Both nights have temps in the teens. Go away winter
I wish the same about Summer

I can understand though that you have no light and not much heat.
Summer here this year has been in the 30C's+ - we are having periodic electrical shortages (purely because of Govt. ineptitude and corruption) we are still critically short of water, with the vast majority of people here not bothering to conserve water and this Summer has also been the year from hell for fires - I have NEVER known of so many fires, or such massive fires, breaking out with such regularity.
But then .... it's election year and it's Africa.!Cats are like Potato Chips - you can't have just one
do your summers last where you are? That would be so scary with the fires! There are areas here, too with drought and then fires. California had it bad this last summer. People can deny climate change all they want...but every season we are setting records for highest and lowest temps all over the world - so it can't be good what is happening.
I got my power back on this evening, so kitties were warm and sleepy when I left for work!
