Poor kitty, sore mouth, the vet then hard to move. Hope she is doing better!!!!! Also how are you doing????

Pat I am glad that both Sara and you are doing better. Just be easy on yourself and don't try to overdo things. Keeping you in my prayers

Ruth I am so sorry to hear your diagnosis and that you have had to go through surgery and chemo. It does take it out of you so the same to you - take care of yourself and hope your recovery goes well.

Keeping you both in my thoughts and prayers.

Shelia, good advice to Pat!! It is easy to overdo when one starts to see improvement!!!!
Also thank you for comments to me!! I just had my first of 6 months of chemo most weekly to be followed by surgery then 30 daily radiation treatments!!!! More than I can imagine!!! Thank for the friends and also my kitties who are always “there” upon my arrival from way too many doctor and hospital visits!!! They even sleep with me!!! Thank you for comments!

It's coming along slowly, but I'd say she's almost back to normal. She even played with Kira a bit last night - not tearing around the house, but "bat and bite" while they laid next to each other, so that's a really good sign, that she even felt playful.

I'm coming along slowly, as well (G!). In fact, at work, I'm finally mostly able to do everything, and have had sore hands the past couple of days from spending the better part of each day using them so much - a *good* thing. It's not "Ouch! That hurts! I can't do that!" pain, but rather "Okay - I'm putting muscles to use that haven't been seeing this kind of steady use in a while" soreness, if that makes sense. So I consider it a part of the road to recovery.

So glad for both you and your kitty!!!!
I recall your issues with a fall and surgery and recovery!!!! Sounds like things are back on track!!! Meows n purrs for that!!!!
Unfortunately for me, not so good here. Kitties LilBit an Buddy doing well!!! I have been diagnosed with cancer, had my first chemotherapy of five month schedule followed by surgery and six weeks of radiation. I know how our kitties feel being taken out of home with nasty things unfamiliar to them. I feel like a frightened kitty!!! I come home and they are waiting for me for treats and cuddles!!!!!

Chemo can be tough, but hang in there! We'll all be rooting for you (and having a Kitty Home Cheerleading Team helps a lot too, I'm sure!)
