We lost Leonard Thursday....msg

We let him go. He went downhill pretty quickly within a few weeks, and was filling up with fluid. It was hard. He would have been 18 in a couple weeks. It's never easy losing them, just thought I'd let you all know of our loss.

And reading posts, I want to say I'm so very sorry to hear of your diagnosis Ruth. That's so scary. I will pray you kick this very easily. Keep us updated.

Barbara, I'm hoping things are ok there now with Mira, and the kitties are getting along again. I hate taking them in for anything, including dental.

Pat, same with Sara, hope she's doing well and all recovered, and glad to hear you're doing better.

Bengalgirl, happy your electric is back on.

Leonardo was very special to us and he will be missed. Our kids (adults) considered him their favorite, and he even was in the wedding video of our oldest son. We called him Leonard or Lee, but his full name was Leonardo Moto McIronclaw. A special name, for a special guy. Fly high Lee.

My husband used one during chemo and it really helped. you are in my prayers

No, the put anti nausea meds via the iv. Fortunately for the first treatment, nausea was not an issue......hope that proves to be throughout!!! I consider this chemo to be pretty barbaric, killing many normal cells and tissues to get at the cancer. It seems this is 2019, that there could be a more high tech effective and humane means to get this done!!! I am sorry that your husband had to endure this. Thank you for your concern. This does help....purrs from the kitties.....

Val, you are right!!!!!!!! It is hard losing one go our loved furred family members!!!!!!!!! My thoughts are with you during this time, I hope you find peace soon!! I am sure you have lost of special memories to cherish!!! Yes, what I have to deal with is scary and the treatment process long and grueling. I am in good paws with my kitties and believe I have good medical care. I do not know why it has to be so much poisons and killing of my healthy part to me to kill the disease. Seems barbaric but have to do it. Even if just for the kitties, Buddy and Lil Bit!!! They need me, he is such a Momma's Boy!!! LilBit also shows her love and needs for me!!

You have such a good attitude for all you must go through. And brave. But all will be ok, you’ll get through this. For you and the kitties. Wish you didn’t have to deal with this though. Will keep you in my prayers.

He is out of pain now....Mira is doing fine, she and Ziba are friends again, so all is well with the world.

The kitties are friends again. And that Mira is doing well. She’s a lucky girl that your husband brought her back here. You should post a pic sometime of both of them.
