to say hi. Hoping everyone is fine. It the middle of winter here and soooo cold. Mainly because it is wet and damp - we had a fair bit of rain on Sunday and Monday nights and early morning, not much today (though some is forecast) - I am grateful for the rain but just wish it was a bit warmer. Our houses over here are not built for winter, we do not have central heating and double glazing so I have a little portable gas heater and a warm blankie - oh and Mr D of course, he usually cuddles up with me on the sofa at nightCats are like Potato Chips - you can't have just one
It’s hot here. Yesterday 92F. Snd it rains every day so humid. I hate hot. But I don’t like cold. You must be over freezing, but I know you’re not used to it.
Rough times here, Daves parents need a lot of help since his dads leg issue and hospital stay a couple weeks back. We spent whole day there getting him to doctor visit yesterday and running errands. They have such a hard time walking. It was hard on them getting from house to car to doctor office. It took a lot out of them. We did all the other chasing. He needs physical therapy 2-3 times a week for 2-3 months. That’s going to be very hard on all of us. Dave just retired, first day off. And guess it was meant to be do we can help them. But it’s a long trip to chicsgo and traffic really horrible. It is what it is. Wish we could get the PT to them. Not them to the PT. That would be much better. They have such a hard time walking. We’ll see. Other than that, guess we’re ok. I worry about Mischka with that big growth. Not much I can do about it.shes 14-15 years old. Surgery would be hard if not impossible on her and not sure she’d live much longer by doing it anyway. So we do the best we can. She’s feeling ok, but hard for her to eat, it’s cumbersom.
You snd Mr D can cuddle and stay warm. I think he sleeps with you?
think it too bad by your winter temperatures! The average this week has been 11C (about 51F) but it has been down to 5C (about 51F). And the rain makes everything damp feeling. When there is snow on the mountains then it drops even lower. A week or so ago we did get a heavy frost. But like I said our houses are built for the warm days. I hope you are managing to work out some kind of routine for Dave's folks. And I am sorry for your worries about Mishka (((hugs)))Cats are like Potato Chips - you can't have just one
