I am OK... I just CANNOT shake this da***d cough. Mr. D had a sore foot again - it's impossible to find out what it is though. I have tried the elbow wrist, tarsala and metatarsals - he show me nothing ! yet he won't put his foot to the floor. However, (we just got up) he does seem a bit better today. It's always completely fine in two days It's weird.

You and Mr. D are having issues. I hope you shake that cough!! Did you ask about Ventolin? Msybe you have a tad of asthma. this opens your bronchi.

Regarding Mr. D, maybe look between the pads of his paw. This happens to Grampie sometimes actually he’s limping now. If you kinda look around or feel deep next to or between the pads,
There may be a sore. I just found a little sore on Grampie.
I put just a little Vaseline on the sore to heal and smooth it.
Or you can use neosporin, but I worry if they lick it.

I hope you both feel better soon.

I have 2 bronchial dilators (these are no. 3 and No. 4. also have a nose spray, I also take homeopathic pills.

I had a good feel between his toes too, all of them, nothing! My friend was here last night and she also had a good look and feel and again... nothing! It is just very wierd.

Steve our 18 year old cat jumped up by me and seemed to hurt when I moved him. His stomach seems hard. I got real scared thinking he is blocked, he did make a poo right after but I’m worried so it’s not his bladder. He did drink pretty good after the poo. I’m calling the vet when they open st 8 am. Going to get him in. But he’s so old, it’s extra worrisome. I hope things will be ok. Say some prayers.

I am not sleeping. I’m checking in him on and off, he seems to be resting quiet in a cat bed. So I’m not disturbing him. It’s been a rough year here for our cats. Too many worries.

Sorry I don’t have better news for you. This came on so out of the blue.

Steve’s not blocked. That’s a good thing. It’s related to skeletal or muscular system. X-rays/bloodwork taken.
X-rays show bad arthritis on hips, has big bone spurs. But that
Doesn’t explain the sudden pain. Maybe he jumped wrong? Or fell from the cat tree? Nothing seems broken.

He gave him a 72 hour shot of morphine. But only -/2 dose cause I didn’t want him to groggy. Now we’re home and he’s walking all over. Still hurts him but he’s moving around.
Actually too much. Now I wish I took the full dose. And tomorrow is Sunday. I hope he dont aggravate things by moving too much.

Well at least he’s not blocked. But say some prayers he heals
Fast cause it really does hurt him.

For kitty, vet and you!!I have an internal morphine drip and it does help!!!! It is the cheapest, fast acting and most used with cancer and chronic pain!!! Poor little kitty!!!!

That storm, my thoughts and prayers Hugo out to them!!!!! I went down there after Katrina and it was so sad. People having to start over from nothing!!! Losing possessions, loved ones and their critters!!!!
