Other than a few very short walks (with masks) in the immediate neighborhood and two scenic drives (where we never leave the car), we have not been out of the house in nearly 3 weeks.
We are getting everything delivered and got one or two hilarious substitutions. Rubbing alcohol is the one of the more difficult items for us.
I have been able to get things brought so have sufficient supplies!!! Take care, Be safe and healthy so can take care oh your kitties!!!!Love those who are with you today.....purrsss, Remember those from previously...mewz
like alcohol and antiseptic wipes, gloves...but otherwise am ok. The girlz are not sure why Mom is staying home all the time and not going in to the SPCA to feed, but hey, they will take it...
plenty of TP, paper towels and tissues from my winter stock-up, thankfully. When we first had the stay-at-home order (our state was very early in this) I got more cat food, litter, bird seed and fresh produce, milk etc. The cat/bird supply is still good but I could use produce. I won't be going anywhere this week and will decide about next. It's just me and the kitties here so I can stretch my food supply very well. I am very grateful that I can cook and am used to doing so.
Where are you located? nm

...in nearly 2 weeks, my friend has kindly bought a few things for me (mainly food for Darick) and dropped them at the door. I have to go out today though, to collect Darick's pain meds from the vet which I have ordered. I am keeping myself occupied by reading, doing on-line jig saw puzzles, cleaning, vacuuming, playing ropes with Mr D, crossword puzzles.
I speak by video to two of my daughters daily, to another one, in Spain, three times a week and I even got a phone call from my eldest (wow).
Everywhere is deserted, beaches, parks, no one is allowed outside even to walk the dog. - just essential shopping for food and meds. Parts of the supermarkets are closed off (i.e. liquor, hairbrushes - stuff like that - non essentials). Numbers inside a store are limited, one comes out - one goes in.
Stay safe allCats are like Potato Chips - you can't have just one
here...only so many in the store...we can walk our dogs, and go out for walks, observing distances. We also allow for purchases at the supermarket of things like liquor. Stay safe!
After not being out fir 2 weeks. We really try to stock up, snd most of it is cat food, litter, raccoon food, birdseed. We spent almost $700. Hoping we don’t have to go out for 3 weeks now. We have a good amount of cat food stored, maybe 2 months. And two 32 gallon garbage drums filled with bird seed, one with sunflower seeds and one regular seeds.
We seem to have plenty of stuff for us too. But we may have to shop for Daves parents In chicsgo in a couple weeks. I dread that. But the are in upper 80s and can’t shop. They just stay in, at least they think clearly.
We wore scarves cause we have no masks, but it was hot! I must make a couple for next time.
The shelves seem fairly ok here, couldn’t get cat litter though, had to go to target. There’s little to no toilet paper. I finally was able to buy one sanitizer but it was limited to one. That’s ok. I won’t need it til I shop, can wash with soap at home.
Just hunkering down now. Must be here for the cats.
The worse thing of all this is that we can’t see our kids and grand babies. We talk in Face time, but it’s not the same. And our granddaughter doesn’t understand why she can’t see us, Yesterday she wanted us to walk through all the rooms and basement, the same places she runs through when she used to come. We showed her the toys in each of the rooms. She wanted to come here. She’s only 2, she doesn’t know what this is about. Very sad.
I’m interested in how everyone else is foing and what is going on by you all. Did you store up? Are you staying in? How are you coping?
