I am in a state. Darick had to seizures yesterday. He has NEVER had one before. He will be 11 next month. I am so worried that it might be linked to the cancer. I had to take him to the emergency vet at midnight. I spoke with them this morning, he has not had another seizure - they have given him some seizure medication - he had blood taken and they did neurological tests, the only mild thing they found in the neurology was his sight was not 100% but at nearly 11 that is pretty normal. Waiting for blood results to come back they will ring me between 4 and 5 this afternoon.
I am a total mess. They said he was such a sweet boy and was in extremely good condition considering his age and his illness. Please send, prayers, good thoughts or whatever for him.

is doing better now. I had a cat with seizures and it is scary. Dogs respond to medication but cats can't usually take it. It's good that he is healthy otherwise.
Its been very hard

the medication has made him sp dopey he keeps falling over , banging into things and hurting himself. He is too big for me to pick up - he weighs 36kg and I am 8s. I cut down one tablet and I am waiting to speak to my vet whenever he rings me back. Thanks for askingCats are like Potato Chips - you can't have just one

by now. I hope that the med helps and the seizures will never return. Don’t think too deep about what the cause is. It may be totally not related. He looks in wonderful shape due to your wonderful care. If he’s happy, just hold into that and enjoy yhe time with him. I think he will be with you longer than you think! Keep positive vibes! Prayers continuing! ((Hugs))
Here's hoping he can come home...purrayers going out...nm

Keeping him in my thoughts that he comes through this crisis and back home to you with no more seizures.
