I had to let my beautiful boy go today. He lived a good long life at about nineteen years and thankfully held on until the vet offices were opened again before he got bad.
He was one of the smartest and most challenging cats I've had, so his name was Leroy Brown and answered to Bad Bad as well! He was black and white, about half & half.
I found him when I was driving home from a movie on a country road. There was a small kitten wandering in the road, which I stopped for. As I was catching the kitten, this half grown kitty was running through the field - screaming at me. I thought it was the mother cat but no, it was just Leroy not wanting to miss his ride!!
The other kitten was too far gone but Leroy made it and was a joyful addition to my household for all these years. He sure kept me on my toes and he will be greatly missed.
So sorry . . . msg

telling you not to mourn, but to celebrate his life, which enriched you both. If you can, post a pic of your Bad, Bad, Leroy Brown....
