How is everyone doing? How are the lockdowns in your area going....we are all fine here, my husband writes to tell me his two cats want to adopt a lizard who is showing up outside their window...we had a mini heat wave earlier in the week, but are now back to our nice San Francisco cool weather...YAY!

Lockdown is eased slightly, we can now exercise between 6am and 6 pm instead of 6am to 9 am. We still have to wear masks (by law). No Sports of any kind are allowed (even dog training) I am still not going anywhere very often - just for pills and essentials. In any case I am spending 24/7 with Darick. He is not improving Winter is here so it's cold morning and evening. There was snow on the surrounding mountains last week.

BTW, I've been watching the show "Aerial Africa" on the Smithsonian channel. I had no idea how gorgeous and varied the landscape is there! Usually all the programming we see is of the Savanna and animals (usually killing other animals

) or starving people. We really have no idea of the real country and how most of the people live. More people would probably visit if we were shown the other options. Not everybody is up for a safari - although I think that would be great, too!

Lucky enough to live in four different countries in Africa and have visited even more. Some of the landscapes are spectacular, in South Africa itself there are a number of different Mountain ranges, including the Drakensberg (Dragon Mountains) which, in actual fact, are the tail end of the Great Rift Valley.

Am sorry to hear about Darick though, but it is a blessing you can spend this time with him. We are in middle of heatwave here, so envy you a little the cold....continued purrayers...

Hurray for June!

I'm so excited for the summer months. I've been keeping busy in the garden and flower beds. I've only been in the pool four times so far due to a cold spell but it should get better this week. The kitties are glad to have the patio opened and all the windows. There is much bird/squirrel/chipmunk watching going on - no lizards here! It's also nice to have so much daylight into the evening.

Lock downs are easing up gradually in my area but my standards still haven't changed. I'm pretty much only going out to the stores that are necessary. I'm still working from home and should through at least June. So grateful for that!
