Putting this out for feedback....my girlz are keeping me in line, they run my schedule, except when it is hot and they are due their flea meds...then we postpone....tomorrow is the day!

and with the warmer weather, I'm able to be outside more...which helps tremendously. I did have a flooded basement from a recent storm. I have a walk-out door down there and the sump pump died. Fortunately, the carpet isn't padded but it was a lot of work getting it scrubbed and dried.

Of course while I was spending time doing that, the pool started going green (I was using the wrong chlorine because the pool stores were closed to get the right stuff!!) and the weeds got a jump start on me.

So now I'm spending time outside playing whack-a-mole.

Kitties are happy watching the squirrels, chipmunks and birds from the patio room all day.It's a bit cooler today after a couple of hot days, so they are romping through the house right now.

I'm glad you get some more time with Darick, Sheila. Praying it continues for you.

Val, I can't believe the babies are two! I have one that I'm feeding multiple times a day to gain weight - age unknown, but up there. He's been tested for several things but nothing showed up as wrong so not much else to do.

Barbara, I think we all have to adhere to the schedules given to us. Lol. I'm very well trained at this point!

Hard to believe it’s 2 years. They turned out to be very living sweet kitties. I’m glad we didn’t give them away.

Tried to post pics of them but the upload is not working fir some reason.

Staying home basically except for food shopping. It’s getting hard not to see our grandkids. But other than that, it’s not bad.
The cats are doing well. Dolly and Steve turned 19 on March 27. Thank God they are doing pretty good. I do feed Steve personally and by hand multiple times a day. He has trouble eating. So I give him very small bits of wet at a time. Dolly is ok thankfully. Whitey looked lousy early in the year, but he was diagnosed with diabetes and is on insulin. He’s gotten better. He’s 15-16. I hope he stays well.

The babies (now 2) are liveable as ever. They always want to be held and kissed.

We’re happy we have our cats during this time, they give us a lot of love and enjoyment.

Hope everyone stays safe out there. This is going to be a long haul, not ending anytime soon.

all of your babies are doing OK. I know you miss your granddkids. It is very hard. It was my youngest granddaughters 21st last week and she couldn't have a party but we - as a family - living in 3 different countries - had a video link talk which was great, even my great graddaughter appared briefly and waved to us all.

Hard with being in seperate places like you all are. Yet I think it’s wonderful you all remain so close at heart.
Glad you got together for the celebration even if it was just by video. Thank God for videos!
We see Quinn (Ryan though hes only 5 mos) on FaceTime in the phone every day. We play and sing and interact with Quinn, almost like we’re there. But it’s still not the same.
Been kinda thinking when do we want to loosen up and at least see our kids. But with all the protests snd the country now open, and people going out snd sbout everywhere...maybe it’s better we watch snd wsit just a bit more.
She wants to come in our pool, she’d love that. We’re going to see how things are next month.

I’m glad she did so well on insulin.

I’ve had two (at same time) on insulin shots years ago. They only lived a couple years on it. They were younger too (12 and 13).

I have Whitey on just a small dose. Not taking him back for a curve or anything, I just raised it a small fraction snd he seems to be doing well. They found what they thought was a tumor in his lung the last time he was in in February. They took xrays cause he had breathing issues. But I’m thinking they were wrong. So far he’s doing much better. Breathing better and put on a little weight. He was so thin before. So we’ll see.
He’s feeling much better which I’m happy about ,

she passed at 22....as long as they are eating well and keeping weight up...go for it! Let me know how he is doing...

Our oldest ever was 21 1/2. But that is very rare. I hope we have Steve and Dolly for a while.

winter has come in suddenly. In the last two weeks there was snow on the surrounding mountains, today we have heavy, heavy rain and there have been high winds. Very unpleasant.

So far as Mr D is concerned there is very little change, I came close to letting him go last week. But we are soldiering on and I am with him 24/7
