Been a long time. Who needs to see cute kittens?

I have no cats now and haven't been here since I lost my darling Owen. Sympathies to all who have lost a beloved kitteh.

My niece trapped a small, starving, semi-feral white cat (with one blue eye and one green!) outside her condo just in time and the kitty gave birth a couple of weeks later.

Homes will be needed but for now, I hope you will enjoy the cuteness. We all need kitten cuteness in our lives.

Adorable babies and pretty Mama. i love the little smudge heads. I miss having kittens around. I had to stop fostering when the group I helped lost their spot at the pet store. That's so nice of your niece to take them in and find homes.

Does anybody here remember the girl that collected odd-eyed cats? It was many years ago but she offered to take any that the board was trying to rehome.

I had to stop fostering too, after approximately 43 cats and kittens passed through my house when the rescue ceased operations.

My niece and I saw something different about this girl and set about researching cat breeds. After eliminating many, we were left with the "Khao Manee" from Thailand.

Her size, pure white coat, body type, face, personality, and of course the blue and green eyes - apparently a rare and prized trait in this breed - are all exact matches.

Whatever she is, she is totally sweet and gentle.

can produce lots of milk.

For those of us who love cats and kittens, try Kitten Academy on YouTube...they have 24 hour streaming, and it is wonderful to see the progress from newborn to 3 months and finally get adopted out....

My niece has been fussing over momcat - who was very bony - like a Mother Hen, feeding her only the best, and lots of it. One kitten didn't make it, and momma has only 4 working nipples but that seems to be okay with her 4 little fatties.

She even has her own room with a view and a custom-made kitty nursery/condo.

Sorry for all the pics! Just does my heart good, in these awful times, to see this poor tiny girl safe, happy, and content with her babies.

Tell you niece to check out Kitten Academy too...msg

they only do pregnant Moms and kittens, from birth to adoptions in concert with a shelter. They specialize in Moms and kittens, as well as have their own cats (which they call the Faculty).

I just checked it out..msg

...and saw some adorable orange floofs!

close up in which he will give a report on all the kittens and mom cat, along with reports on the Faculty...and the new mom cat...check it out.
This week has been different as they were affected by the hurricane/tropical storm Isaias...
