The problem has been identified. It is a D-Star signal from a new repeater in test coordination on Contractors Peak [www.ircradio.org]. A bit of it sneaks through the hills into the San Gabriel Valley and causes interference in some areas. I just happen to be in one of those areas. At any rate, it's a TASMA problem, or it will be a TASMA problem if/when the repeater trustees involved get to work on it. Now, about these hang-glider pilots on 144.350...
