I’ve been running a small community forum for a few months now, and while we have a steady number of visitors, actual engagement (likes, replies, new threads) is pretty low. I’ve tried posting discussion starters and sharing useful content, but I’m worried about overposting and making the forum feel spammy.
For those of you who’ve managed active communities here on Boardhost, how do you strike the right balance between keeping things lively and not overwhelming users with too many threads? Also, do you find it better to focus on fewer, high-quality posts or frequent smaller updates to keep people coming back?

Would really appreciate any tips or examples from your own experience. Thanks!
