well today we went for a CT scan of lungs and sinus area. Well today we finally found our what is probably the root of the problem for Liam ( his Right sinus is complety blocked by a polyp and that cavity is FULL of mucus) We have decided to leave the IVS for now and go with a nasal steriod to shrink the polyp, Hypertoinic Saline and Colistin directly up the nose and oral Cirpo. Hopefully this will sort out where the nasty PA is coming from. If this does not owrk we will resort to Surgery and then IVs.
We are so happy because Liams lungs are excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!! and we now know that there is a major problem in his sinus!!
Today we started Neb GSH at only about 1/4 of a capsule I have mixed this with 3 mls of Water for injection and then in to the neb, is this OK, we will directly start using the GSH to the area with the polyp and infection with the nasal attachment for now. We also started Oral on 1/4 capsule 3 x today. It is very hard to try and get a correct dose as I dont have medical scales to weight it exaclty. How does everyone else go with exact mgs when first starting before going up in doses??
