Just wondering if anyone can give me a bit more info. on Archie's recent culture results. He has never had a culture done as my doc does not believe throat cultures are accurate so this is new to me. This time he managed to cough up a good sputum sample (yay) as he has had an infection and the results were:-
normal respiratory flora with no specific bacterias or pseudo's. Doc said to keep him on oral broadspectrum antibitoic for 7-10 days which he is on.
Is there anything to worry about with this result? His cough has pretty much cleared up now with 7 days of anti's and lots of GSH nebs.
