Katie is 16 months old now. We started using GSH when she was 5 months old. We have had 1 ear infection and 1 bout with pseudomonas in her 16 months. The pseudomonas cleared after 21 days of inhaled Tobi. I think we're doing really good and I contribute it to GSH. We do both the oral and inhaled. We don't know about her lung involvement yet, because she's too young for LFT's, but she's been really healthy, even when everyone in the family's been sick! In the beginning,her gut was really bad, lots of trouble with malabsorption (even with the enzymes), but once I started the GSH, her stools became normal, and we've not had any more problems with that. Call me crazy, but I'm convinced that the GSH helped her intestinal tract. I also give her a probiotic daily. I know we're still early in our CF life, but I really believe the GSH is helping Katie. Also, it makes me sooo happy and encouraged when all of you tell me how "old" your kids are getting!! Its really maintains my hope of a long future for Katie. Thanks!!
