Its been a long time since I have posted but I need a little advise. We broke our nebulizer tonight and will need a new one. Over the last few months I have struggled to get the latest portable nebulizer for my daughter that is suppose to be so fast and wonderful. However, from my understanding you must have a prescription and.... I finally talked my doc into the prescription but never was able to get the nebulizer due to what seemed like red tape.
So with tonight's new need I thought I would buy a dependable portable nebulizer that hopefully is faster than the average. Anyone have any suggestions?
While I am posting I will update you on my 11 year old daughter. She had a rough year in 2006 - 2007 with NTM that took a year of special antibiotic treatment. It seems to be gone and she has been doing much better but due to the NTM and a few other trouble makers (PA) we stopped GSH for a while.
In retrospect GSH was not adding to her troubles but the bacteria were probably to strong for GSH to help much.
However, we started back on a full strength GSH regiments about three weeks ago. My daughter says she feels the difference, less mucus. It also appears to me she is having less mucus which is amazing. She had cultured for PA again in January and we were trying to "control" the PA with inhaled Tobi regiments. We have been off Tobi for 30 days and mucus and coughing are currently less.
And for the record, we beat PA about 4 years ago with nothing but GSH. Our doctor was amazed and said we were lucky!
I am hopeful we are heading down that path again. And this time we won't stop GSH treatment but keep fighting on.
Best Regards Everyone,
Rodney
