I guess we don't know exactly how many times occurs before GSH turns into gssh but we can say for sure that a part of it is oxidizied before doing its job. Instead almost all NAC we assume is turned onto gsh by the liver.
I know it is very hard to define exactly this point without any specific studies, but I was asking if assuming 4gr of GSH or 2gr of NAC (quantities are for an example), could give to the body almost the same amount of usable GSH.
Anyway DL50 of oral NAC is more than 10 g/kg.
Maybe it's impossible to answer at my question or you think it's completely wrong?
