Hi, Kim, I can certainly see why you are frustrated! Kim, there are parents of both opinions on this board--some parents discontinue GSH while on abx; others continue it. If you gut says, let's try it without GSH this round, then I say go with your gut. And let us know what happens!

Prevention . . . assuming you are doing all the usual things (top down when flushing the toilet, no bird baths in the backyard, etc.), then the problem is that they may not actually be completely eradicating the PA with the rounds of abx they have given Katie.

Something I would definitely consider is a good, strong probiotic for while she is on abx and for months afterward. New research shows that derangement of beneficial gut flora due to abx use decreases the immune system's ability to fight harmful bacteria like PA.
